Posted by admin | Online Store | Friday 13 November 2009 4:47 am

There are a lot of options for getting your store online. You can start from scratch and pay a web design firm to build you a brand-new web store or you can take advantage of the technology platform that industry leaders in e-commerce are offering.

If you have ever done any shopping online, you will know about how much potential an online store has with regard to making money. Any product that can be sold in the “real world” can be sold online too thanks to websites such as Amazon.com & eBay. If you have ever dreamed of starting your own online store despite not knowing what to sell or how to sell products, then you have come to the right place. Read on to find out more about how to set up your very own online store & monetize it to make huge amounts of money with it.

Starting any kind of business, whether in the real world or on the internet, requires determination. Especially if you are a beginner, this is of the utmost importance. So when you start your online store, the first thing that is required of you would be understand that you cannot expect to make huge amounts of profit right away & that it will take some time before you can start making money. However, if you follow the steps that I list properly, then you can start making a lot of money right after your first month.

Establishing your online store comes in 3 simple steps. They are:-

1. Choose the right interface
2. Find profitable products to sell
3. Marketing

Of these, the second & the third step require the hardest work. Now if you are one of those guys with a marketing degree telling me that the third step is not much of a problem, you have to understand that online marketing is completely different from real-life marketing. They work in different ways & hence cannot be compared.

For step #1, choosing the right interface, you can visit my blog where I have listed some popular websites on the internet with whose affiliation; you can set-up your online store. This includes famous companies like eBay, Amazon etc. Imagine having your online store affiliated with companies like eBay & Amazon & other equally wonderful website. That would be your step towards successful online marketing.

For the second step, finding the right “profitable” products, you will have to do a lot of research on the internet with the help of search engines like Google about the various markets available & see if there is any market available for them. You can refer to a step-by-step process on how to effectively do this on my blog.

When most people start their own online stores, they are very excited in the beginning & as time passes by, they lose their interest & their excitement & stop the whole process just before the final & the most important step of all, marketing.

The steps listed above are but a brief outline of things that you will have to do in order to succeed with your online store. What has made people in the same business really rich is due to the research that they have conducted in the market. So make sure you do the proper research & follow the steps outlined above properly & your online store will be a big success.

Flash Animation

Posted by admin | Multimedia | Monday 24 August 2009 3:51 am

A Flash animation is a compiled or published file created using Macromedia Flash software. The compiled file is a .swf file format that can be played by flash player or embedded in an HTML file. Flash can generate other formats including gif animations. Basically 2 dimensional graphics can be animated very well in Flash animation software

The use of flash is very common on company websites. Design and media companies in particular prefer the use of flash because they want to impress visitors. Many newspaper and magazine websites also use flash to make interactive maps of places that are in the news.

Flash is the program used by web designers to make the pages, games and special files – or ‘movies’ – that this program creates. The movies are added to web pages just like pictures or other extras, like Java. When the page is sent from a web server to a browser, the movie file is sent too. The flash player, a special program, reads these movie files and displays them properly inside the web pages.

Although not a standard part of the world wide web, ever since flash was launched in 1995 it has become the most common way to add cool extras to websites. Many computers are sold with the flash player already installed. In fact, over 97% of Internet users have already got flash on their computers.

Flash gets a new version at frequent intervals, and you may need the latest version of the flash player in order to see pages created using it.

As flash animations have reasonably small file sizes, larger and more complex animations can be put online and downloaded reasonably quickly. They can also have interactive ability built into them, which is extremely popular for online games and special effects on web pages. The problem with flash is that it can make sites hard to look at and slow to download if it used too frequently.
